Frequently Asked Questions


Are you fully insured?
Yes, we are fully insured. We are also vet and local authority approved and have an annual inspection by both.

Does my dog need to be vaccinated?
Yes, their annual boosters must be up to date and vaccinations cards must be seen on check in. We also strongly recommend the Kennel Cough vaccination, please see our vaccination advice page for more details.

I have two dogs, can they stay in the same kennel?
Yes, all of our kennels are built to accommodate two dogs, however please enquire if your dog’s are of a particular large breed.

What time can I drop and / or collect my dog?
Anytime within our opening hours: Monday – Friday 07:30 – 13:30, 16:00 – 19:00, Saturday and Sunday 09:00 – 17:00.

Will my dog be walked?
Yes, we walk the dogs twice daily, once after breakfast and then again after dinner. We provide group, individual, on and off lead walks. As part of the check in process we will ask how you would like your dog to be walked. Please note, we do not have an enclosed area, the dogs are walked in the surrounding forestry. We also offer an additional walking service that our kennel dogs can join and be out and about for an additional hour. Please ask us for more information when enquiring.

Do I need to bring bedding for my dog?
Each kennel has a raised bed and we provide bedding, however please feel free to bring along any additional bedding and / or toys for your dog’s kennel.

Do I need to provide food?
BCS Feed is included within the cost, however if you would like your dog to be kept on his / her own food, please bring this with you and advise on your dog’s usual feeding routine on check in. Please see our BCS Feed Range page for more information on the feed we supply.

Can you administer my dogs medication?
Yes, please advise us on check in of your dog’s requirements.
